Hi Jas, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, you may need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS11752594, to fix the issue. Hi Thomas, thank you for contacting us. The part you are looking for is the Dispenser Ice Chute Door and Funnel Assembly, part number PS11738680. To replace it, we would suggest following these general instructions: Remove the screws holding the dispenser cover. Using a putty knife, slightly push the dispenser cover to release it. Remove the wiring connections. Remove the screws holding the chute and funnel assembly. Detach the wires and the target ring. Insert the water tube in the new chute assembly, and connect the wires. Tighten the screws and put the target ring back on. Attach the dispenser control board wiring, and put the cover back on by aligning the screws and pushing it. We hope this helps!
Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. I was concerned that I would be too forceful for the plastic assemblies and would break something; deliberate motions and a steady thought process on the problem helped disengage the darned old filter!
