upper oven when set to 350 deg's shoots up to 500 degs and obviously burns our food ,it appears the thermo sensor is bad for the upper oven. Does this make sense? further is it something I can replace?
For model number ME302JP
Hi Doug, thank you for contacting us. If your oven is burning food, it most likely indicates a damaged oven temperature sensor, part number PS8729847, and needs to be replaced. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Removed the wall oven to access temp probe connector strapped to the back of the oven. removed 2 screws holding probe inside the oven & replaced. Searched for the "fixing kit" thermostat part I was suggested to replace along with the probe. No thermostat type part was found in my oven, even though Bosch says it fits "somewhere". Reinstalled the wall oven & tested. The temperature is working normal now. Will return the fixing kit.
