My oven won't heat up what part needs to be replaced? What parts are the cause for this oven not to work?
For model number ME301JP
Hi Lisa, thank you for your question! We have found that the issue is with the oven temperature sensor, part number PS8729847. The sensor detects the temperature inside the oven and sends the information to the control board, which controls the heating elements in the oven. We would recommend replacing the temperature sensor to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Removed the wall oven to access temp probe connector strapped to the back of the oven. removed 2 screws holding probe inside the oven & replaced. Searched for the "fixing kit" thermostat part I was suggested to replace along with the probe. No thermostat type part was found in my oven, even though Bosch says it fits "somewhere". Reinstalled the wall oven & tested. The temperature is working normal now. Will return the fixing kit.
