Dryer works on medium temperature setting, but not on regular temperature setting

Hello, Thank you for your question. I would recommend looking into the- Part #: PS2035496 which is the selector switch. Also you may want to check the thermal fuse/thermostat to ensure they are not damaged if they have been tripped it will not allow the unit to run/heat properly. We hope this helps.

My dryer squeaks while drying. What is the most likely cause and fix?

Hello Vic, thank you for your question. If your dryer squeaks then the issue is probably with the Drum Support Roller Kit, part number PS1570070. If that does not take care of the issue, then the problem is most likely to be related to the Roller Shaft, part number PS11743031. Dryer would not start. Thought it was door switch so bypassed door switch. Start work but makes a load noise while turning. Stops as soon as release start button. Stopped holding button but left plugged in and door bypass in place on for a little and started smelling a hot smell. Wonder if element was heating but tumbler wasn’t going. Unplugged for now. Any suggestions.

Hi Canyon, I would double check and make sure there is no lint stuck in the lint trap, back of the dryer, and vent hose. The belt/motor might also need replacement. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair!
first, I unplug the power supply of the dryer then I removed the two screws at the bottom of the dryer then pulled out the front part of the dryer,unplugged the blue & yellow wire for the on/off switch for the door,at the back of the dryer I unscrew the pannel for the belt,disconect the belt,and I unscrew the four screws on both side of the front pannel to remove the front cover of the drum. Once I removed the front cover of the drum I can now remove the drum itself to access the drum support roller. I unscrew the rollers then replace it with the new once. It was an easy job. Thank you.
