Was working fine on friday but saturday there’s no power. I check the breaker and plug there both good. I bought a computer from you guys when we bought it. What would cause this?

If the outlet it is plugged into and the breaker are good and still no power, it could be a defective Washer Control Board with Sensor Assembly PartSelect Number PS2037410. I looked up the part and it is listed as No Longer Available/Discontinued sorry. There are no part substitutions listed. My suggestion here would be to call the manufacturer and see if they can provide you with a substitution for these part numbers. Hope this helps!
My Maytag neptune washer made a burning smell during the spin cycle and now kicks out during the spin cycle. I took the belt off and the motor cycles low then high then shuts down and starts again. Spin cycle never goes below 8 minutes

What is the procedure for replacing one of the 3 baffles inside the washing tub. I had one fall off. The is a screw that needs to put in to replace the broken baffle. I need to take have the tub exposed so that i can get to the outside of the tub to screw the piece in. How to i take the washer apart to do this.

Hello Lori, thank you for your question. The only way to replace these is to remove the inner basket assembly out of the outer tubs. Once removed, there is a screw that needs to be removed, then the lifter will slide out of the basket assembly. Here are the instructions on removing the basket assembly from the manufacture. Hope this helps. Outer Tub and Spinner Removal 1. Disconnect power supply to unit. 2. Remove Top Cover. 3. Remove Console. 4. Remove Front Panel. 5. Remove Back Cover. 6. Remove Pump Hose. 7. Remove the Drain Hose 8. Remove Motor 9. Remove the two 13mm bolts securing the Rear Struts to the base. 10.Rotate the struts up against the bottom of the tub to ease removal of the tub assembly. NOTE: The rear struts can be identified by the green sleeve. 11. Remove two each side 13mm bolts securing Counter Weights. NOTE: Torque bolts to 11-22 ft lbs. during installtion. 12.Remove wire harness connectors for the heater, Themistor and ground. 13.Remove two 13mm bolts securing the Front Struts to base and rotate up against the bottom of the tub. 14.Insert a board or boards across the bottom of the washer frame to use as a support when removing the tub assembly. 15.Remove fill hose. 16.Remove Pressure Switch harness connector. 17.Remove the Pressure Hose. 18.Remove ground wire. 18.Remove left and right Vent Hoses. 19.Lift Suspension Spring from keeper in cabinet. Repeat for the opposite side and let Outer Tub rest on support board. 20.Remove two screws securing Center Brace to Back Guard. 21.Remove remaining screws securing Back Guard to cabinet. 22.Grasp the front and rear of the tub and slide out. Use a blanket or rug to protect the floor 23.Set the tub on the floor. Position 4" wood blocks or equivalent around the spinner shaft. Roll the tub to the upright position and rest it on the blocks. 24.Remove the 10mm screws around the perimeter of the tub. NOTE: Torque tub bolts to 6-11 ft. lbs. 25.Separate the front and rear halves of the Outer Tub. 26.Tub Gasket can be replaced after tub halves are split. 27.Lift Spinner to access Wave Washer. 28.Remove screw and release tab to remove Baffles. Thanks for the detailed information on how to replace baffles. I have another question:When you open the outer tub to get to the inner/spinner tub do you have to replace the seal because the outer tub was opened.

Thank you for your question. There is a filter found in the left rear at the top of the washer, but it is a mechanical part and not something that you would need to clean. If you have any questions, please let us know. We are open 7 days a week. We look forward to hearing from you!
1. remove the three screws from the top backside of the top panel 2. push the top panel to the rear 1/8 to 1/4 inch 3. lift/rotate top panel from rear to front, set aside. 4. remove the three wire connectors from latch. 5. use #15 Torx to remove the three screws from the latch. 6. remove and replace part using top opening. 7. reverse order to finish.
First I unplugged the washer and removed the back cover plate of the washer. I drained the pump and drainage lines. I then removed the two hose clamps and removed the connecting hoses. I removed the electrical connection. I loosened the three mounting bolts holding the mounting plate holding the pump. Once out, I could remove the pump from the plate and replaced it with the new part. I remounted the mounting plate, attached the hoses and clamps. I reattached the electrical connection and the back plate to the washer.
The Maytag is well designed and the parts are easy to reach. At least from this experience, the machine was designed with efficient repairs in mind. This is a sign of a well made machine.
I bought a new door lock for 132 dollars (item number PS2037196).
Ultimately you have to get to the inside of the machine where the door lock is located in order to see if you will need this door lock that I bought.
DISCONNECT POWER FROM MACHINE.
First take off the top by taking off the 2 screws on the back of the machine.
Second take off the control panel, I believe there are about 5 or 6 screws for that. (there's also a screw when you open up the detergent compartment on the bottom left- also, a lever must be pushed in order for the compartment to come off- it MUST be taken off).
Third unscrew the top of the front white plate.. there should be a 5 or 6 screws for that. You don't need to take off the entire front plate.
Finally unscrew 3 screws that hold the door lock in place .. make sure your hands is in the machine- the back of door lock to catch the lock when you're on the last screw.
Gently take out the door lock from the side with the cables attached by holding the white metal door open (it bends).
Try to pull on the bottom of the door lock (its a manual release). If it doesn't release you need to buy a new door lock like I did... if it does release then you don't need a door lock and just reassemble. (Note: You can also try plugging in the machine and THEN pulling down on the manual release. When I tried this the door lock just vibrated and nothing happened so I bought a new door lock.)
If you have the new door lock continue here:
Take out all 3 cables on the old door lock by pressing on the corresponding clips.
Attach the new door lock with the correct cables. Assemble machine back together.
