Thank you for your question. If your refrigerator will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the compressor starter and the compressor assembly. As the compressor is a high voltage part, you may need to have a qualified technician install it. We hope this helps! If your refrigerator or freezer is not maintaining proper temperature the most probable culprits are the temperature sensors, part number PS11760082, and part number PS11760081. This repair was easy. The ice maker assembly is basically a plug and play unit that requires first removing the ice bucket as described inside the freezer door. Next, remove several screws the support the unit, then gently lifting the ice maker assembly out, just far enough to access the 2 electrical plugs that operate the unit. Carefully unplug the old unit and remove it. Next, plug the new unit and then reverse the disassembly process. I could have done this in 10 minutes had I not been careful not to break anything. No special tools are required.
Removed ice dispenser and display with small screwdriver from front of the fridge. Pried out the whole piece slowly. This exposed the motor that activates the chute. Plugged in the new motor before any removal to verify the motor was the problem. When it worked, removed old and installed new. 3 screws. Piece of cake.
