The icemaker has a drip that freezes over the bar. It was make ice if you break off that drip several times a day but now it has stopped making ice. What’s needed to fix it. I just changed the filter but it was happening prior to that.

Hello Vicki, thank you for reaching out. You will need to check the freezer's door gasket. Ensure there are no gaps when the door is closed and no air passes through. If the door is not closing tight enough, air will pass through, making everything freeze inside, including the ice maker. Check the water fill tubing for blockages or obstructions, which can lead to leakage and ice buildup. You will also need to check the water inlet valve, part number PS12748542, for leakage or blockages. If there is any leakage, you will need to replace it. We hope this helps.
