How to remove trim on freezer door for access to icemaker dispensing tab that is loose?

Hello Robert, thank you for your question. The trim cover around the ice dispenser is attached with plastic tabs (no screws at all). Use a putty knife with painters tape around the sharp edge to gently pry the trim from around the dispenser area. I hope this helps.

where is the interior light on the fridge

Hi Tommy, thank you for reaching out. To access the interior lights, open up the fresh food door. Access to the light cover in the back. Lift it up. The light bulbs are fitted in the light socket. We hope this information helps!

The freezer and the fridge is way too cold it freezes everything

Hi Kenny, thank you for getting in touch. First, you need to make sure that the air vent is not blocked, as it ensures the temperature inside is consistent. If food is blocking a vent, it can prevent air from reaching other parts of the unit, while direct exposure to the cold air source can result in a refrigerator freezing food. If it is not blocked, you may need to check the defrost thermostat, part number PS469522, with an ohm meter for continuity. If that does not help, you may also need to check the temperature sensor, part number PS1765215, by doing a continuity test. If the problem still persists, then it could be due to a faulty damper, part number PS2331826, and may need to be checked. You can do so by looking near the top of a side-by-side fridge. It may look like a flapper door or slide gate. If it seems stuck open, the damper is defective. We hope this solves your problem!
My ice maker makes a clunking noise and produces smaller cubes and slower. We also notice ice forming in the bottom of the collection bin like water has leaked into it and frozen.

In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
