Ice Maker Code IFE has appeared on Refrigerator Door. Test mode carried out, the Ice Tray appears to rotate fully however the ice Tray looking at it in position appears out of alignment does this mean replacement of the whole item or can I re-align?

Hi William, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the error code IFE indicates that the ice maker fan motor is not spinning properly. We would recommend checking the evaporator fan blades for any damage. If this is not the issue, we would suggest replacing the evaporator fan motor, part number PS12383671, to solve the problem. The icemaker tray may appear level or with a slight tilt. The change in position is to assist in the freezing process. Glad to be of help!
When dispensing ice or water the switch stays open and ice or water will continue to flow until you open the door and or switch between ice, water crushed ice several times.

Hi Michael, thank you for getting in touch. We have researched and found that you probably have a defective micro switch, part number PS3529276. It controls dispensing of ice or water when you press the dispenser lever. You may need to replace the micro switch to fix it. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
Ice in door does not freeze completely. When dispensed, water comes out along with half frozen cubes

Hello James, Thank you for your question. The ice melting in the ice bin can be caused by warm air getting through the dispenser and into the door. We would recommend checking the dispenser micro switch, the ice dispenser motor, and the ice door gasket. We hope this helps.
Hi; my fridge / freezer is not blowing cold air around the fridge; I have tested the compressor which is working; tested the low and high sides pressure and refrigerant is all good; when I press test button on back of fridge all fans work correctly and spin; however without test mode the fans don’t seem to be spinning to circulate the cold air from freezer up to fridge. I’m unsure what else it could be. Any suggestions?

Hi Darryl,
Thank you for your question. If the evaporator and condenser fan motors do not work on their own, the main electronic control board may be malfunctioning and it will need to be replaced. Inspect it for signs of damage, wear, scorching, and burn marks. If it shows any of these signs, it will need to be replaced. We hope this helps!

Had to buy the entire door mullion because the spring broke, wasn't happy. Got the new part very quickly and it was a new replacement part number. Somewhat tentative. Took it out of the box and looked it over. No spring! Groan! Thought I got the wrong part. Flipped the bottom hinge and it snapped open, no need for a spring! Two screws, disconnect the wire harness, throw away the old, get new, connect the wire harness, connect hinges, put in two screws! Super easy. Watch the video for some pointers along the way.
