Getting the ER FF error code frequently. What is the issue and is it an easy fix?
For model number LFX33975ST
Hi Tom, thank you for reaching out. This error occurs when the freezer fan motor does not operate normally. The evaporator fan motor for your model is part number PS7791877. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!
COMPRESSOR COMES ON AND GETS FRIDGE TO 33 DEGREES THEN WONT COME ON AGAIN UNTILL UNIT IS OVER 40 DEGREES. I DONT KN0W WHEN IT COMES ON AS IT HAPPENS IN THE MIDDEL OF THE NITE. Hello Thomas, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, we would recommend checking the fresh food section door gasket for any damage. If the gasket is fine, then you may need to replace the thermistor, part number PS3529165. It senses the temperature inside the refrigerator and sends information to the electronic control. We hope this information helps!
Removed the section of refrigerator that dispenses ice and water. Necessary to pry with object that does not scratch like plastic scraper. Then pull out and replace the switch Micro -- only has one Phillips screw holding switch. Replaced the dispenser and snapped on the New button assembly I broke and job was done. Works perfectly now..
Watch YouTube videos on this topic if you are uncertain before tackling the job. The right door was easy to replace. Just pull the gasket with your fingers and it will come off easily. Place new gasket over door and use fingers to press it inside the groove few inches at a time. Pay attention to gasket orientation.
The left door is a bit harder because you need to remove the mullion at the door edge using a screw driver. Remove two screws on the center hinge and then slide the mullion up to disengage. Then unplug the wires to remove the mullion. Replace the gasket as described above and replace the mullion reversing the directions shown above.
I installed the new 3 wire ice maker very easily, but it was defective. I was told that instructions for the return of the defective part would be sent later due to the virus. I have never received the return instruction. I did receive a credit for the defective part. VERY Satisfied with y’all’s service. Waiting for return instructions if y’all still want it back. Thanks, Thomas Pennebaker
