Is a circulation pump the same as sump pump assembly. My circulation pump is bad on my dishwasherSS

Hi Gaylord, thank you for your inquiry. Dishwasher water sump assembly and circulation pump are different parts. The circulation pump for your model is part number PS12076781. We hope this information is useful!
Ordered the roller from Parts Select, slid the roller over the little spindle sticking out of the bottom rack and snapped it in place. Job done in less than one minute.
Saw a YouTube video that explained the problem was the pump. Removed dishwasher from under the counter, flipped it on its side, and unplugged the unit. Removed bottom cover and the pump is right there. Used pliers to lose and move 3 hose clamps. Unplugged 3 wires and unscrewed the ground. Unhooked rubber hold downs and removed. Installed new pump. Parts Select pricing was best I found and shipping was fast. Nice to have a quiet house again when running the dishwasher. Cost in total was less than $100.
