Hello Carla, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, we would recommend checking the control panel, part number PS16662007, to fix the issue. We hope this helps!
Why am I constantly getting a moldy smell from the dishwasher when I open it? I cleaned out the drain at the bottom but there is always standing water which I think is giving off the order. Do not know why it is not completely draining. I did not install this. It was professionally installed so I am assuming they did the right thing.

Hello Mike, thank you for your query. We have found that even if your drain hose is not kinked or otherwise obstructed with food waste, it could still be the reason why your dishwasher smells. If your drain hose drops from the back of your unit and runs along the floor before moving upward towards the sink, gravity could be working against you. If you have a drooping drain hose, try to find a way to reposition it. Ideally, your drain hose will run downwards from the dishwasher into the sink disposal, allowing gravity to do most of the work. If the dirty water and food waste do not have to go upwards to the disposal, they are less likely to get stuck and create a bad smell in the hose. You may need to check the drain filter for clogging and reposition the drain hose, part number PS16621806, to fix the issue. We hope this helps, good luck with this repair!
