Part #MEE62385201
A dual radiant heater supplies heat to a cooking area beneath a glass cooktop. Replacement may be needed when one zone does not warm, only the inner or outer section works, or the element has a visible break. Normal radiant burners cycle on and off, so cycling alone does not prove a failure. Check the control switch and connections first, then match the replacement by full model number, location, size, mounting points, and electrical rating. Disconnect the range at the breaker and confirm the circuit is dead before service. Handle sharp metal edges and the glass top carefully, and return every bracket, shield, and wire to its original position.

Robert - For model number LCE3010SB
November 17, 2023
The front right dual burner temperature cannot be controlled. When it is turned on using either the centre burner or the full burner, it simply turns on and stays on at full heat until you shut it off no matter what temperature setting you use. What part controls this?
Chris Boyle Profile
Hello Robert, thank you for getting in touch. Based on our research, the issue is most probably with the radiant surface element. We recommend replacing the radiant surface element, part number PS7795472, to solve the problem. It supplies the heat to a cooking area on top of the range. We hope that helps!

Dropped a hammer on the range while removing a ceiling light. Viewed a How-To video on Google. Ordered the needed parts. Followed the steps from the How-To video. Reinstall was a bit tricky by myself - could have used an extra set of hands. I have a few words of caution:
1) Put something between the range top and range - like a sheet or drop cloth - to prevent a dropped screw from falling into a crevice in the stove. I dropped a screw and was unable to retrieve it, even with a magnet.
2) Makes sure you remove all bumpers, screws, clips, etc. from the item being replaced and put them on the new item if the new item does not come with replacement bumpers, screws, etc.
