Judging by your response yesterday i believe my description of the problem was misunderstood. Occasionally on satisfactory completion of a wash cycle the Green clean light does not illuminate. The next wash cannot be initiated as no lights come on until power is interrupted at the breaker in the electrical panel. Then all lights are again active and another satisfactory wash cycle can proceed. A faulty door latch as suggested seems implausible. Please rsvp.

Good Day Alan. Thank you for your question in regards to your unit (Model Number KUDE20IXSS6). Based on our research, this may be the result of the control board needing to be either reset; or if it is faulty, be replaced. To reset the control board, your unit will need to be disconnected from the power source for at least one minute and then plugged back in. If you do need to replace the control board (Part Number PS3651409), you can order this part either online at our website www.PartSelect.ca or by calling us by phone at 877-910-4613. Best Regards.
Hi Tom, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest you check the door latch, part number PS8770043, to fix this issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Sometimes recently the Green "clean" light fails to illuminate on completion of a normal wash. For the next wash unit will not start and all lights are off until power is interrupted at the breaker in our service panel. What is the likely problem?

Replacement was pretty easy after figuring out how to unsnap/unlock the old pieces. Tools only used to do a little prying and poking, but really aren't needed. Everything either snaps or slides together. Piece of cake
Pulled dishwasher from under counter, attached link to spring, hooked spring back into frame/chassis, threaded link through pulleys, attached other end of link onto door, reinstalled dishwasher under counter. All's well. Note-I purchased an extra link anticipating that the other one will fail. They're cheap enough.
I took the broken basket adjuster off and then attached the new one. It wasn't too difficult, however some removal instructions and re-install instructions( or just a picture supplied) would have been helpful. This isn't an issue for a mechanically inclined person, but would be a challenge for someone that isn't. Thanks.
