My mom has a Kitchenaid built in oven, model number KOSE500EW02, serial number is: D64218860. She was doing some baking when the oven stopped working, everything went dead including the control panel. I have tested and there is power to the oven. Could you please help guide me to the problem.
Thanks, Al Sharp

Hello, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the problem seems to be with the Thermal Fuse and you may need to replace it, the part number is PS12349196. If that does not take care of the issue, we would recommend checking the Control Panel, part number PS12070749. If you need help placing an order for it, please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
We have had to replace the thermal fuse in my parents oven twice in the last several weeks; it just blew out again yesterday. I am thinking there is something else wrong that is forcing this fuse to blow. Could it be a bad control board? If so how could I test it to see if it is faulty? Thank You, Al

Hello Al, thank you for contacting us. Mostly, a shorted bake element, part number PS16555332, and a faulty temperature sensor, part number PS11731446, blow the thermal fuse, part number PS12349196. You can test these parts with a multimeter for continuity to pinpoint the fault. The control board, part number PS12348595, can also be a culprit but its chances are very slim. You can test the board with a multimeter by measuring voltages across its terminals. Customer service is available 7 days a week if you require assistance placing an order. Thanks again for reaching out!
This product comes in a bottle with a brush like Liquid Paper. It goes on incredibly easy. A second coat might be needed. I wanted to prevent rust from setting in so I covered the scratches and dings. The paint is a little brighter since my washer is 10 years old but it still looks great.
Not a repair. Just needed to replace the meat probe sensor for the programmable oven. Quick and easy purchase and very fast delivery took care of the problem. I was back in business.
