Water has always been slow but now just dripping. Replaced filter. No better. Mss as led ice fine
For model number KFIS27CXMS2
Hi Tim,
Thank you for your question. If there is only a small amount of water coming from the dispenser, you may have a blockage in the water line. If you have just replaced the filter, make sure you have flushed it several times before using it. Check your owner's manual for the correct procedure used for your refrigerator. Check the water lines for signs of damage and clogs. If ice is clogging the lines, you may have to defrost the refrigerator manually to remove it. We hope this helps! Good luck with the repair!

If water inlet valve is bad would water dispenser work & ice maker not work? I replaced ice maker but still does not make ice.
For model number KFIS27CXMS2
Hello Jimmy, Thank you for your inquiry. Most water inlet valves actually have two solenoids, one for water and one for the ice maker. One solenoid in the valve can fail while the other is still working. We have researched the model number you have provided and your model actually has two water inlet valves, a primary valve near the ice maker-part# PS11751526, and a secondary dual water inlet valve in the refrigerator liner-part# PS11738654. We have included a link to our video that shows how to test a water inlet valve and an ice maker, and also a link to our article on testing the valve. Both water inlet valves should be checked. We hope this helps and if you need help placing an order, customer service is open 7 days a week. Please feel free to give us a call. We look forward to hearing from you!
Pressed in the end of the filter cover, lowered it down part way. Twisted the old filter 1/4 turn and removed it. Set in the sink to drain. Inserted new filter and twisted it to lock. closed cover. Done. Total time @ 1 Minute.
I removed the drop-down outer housing by gently prying the sides of the two pivot pins at the rear. This gave me move 'room' to grip and slightly rotate then pull the old filter forward and away from the tight suction connection. I was concerned that I would be too forceful for the plastic assemblies and would break something; deliberate motions and a steady thought process on the problem helped disengage the darned old filter!
