I have looked and looked all over your site for a video to show me how to remove and replace the Bake Element on my Kitchen Aid KESK901SSS06, SN D14551680. I have taken it apart and removed the two screws on the element and also the two screws just above those screws. The insulation seems to be in one piece and the element will not slide out it will only move about one inch. Will I need to cut the insulation to pull out the element? It would be great to have a video that shows me how this is done.
I have looked at video for part #PS249247 and it is not like my stove.
Does your site have such a video?
Thanks for your help !

Hello Rick,
Thank you for your question. Our sources suggest replacing the temperature sensor under part PS11748765 for your model to fix the issues. We hope this helps!
The oven on my kitchenaid glasstop range heats up slow and when the selected cooking temperature is reached the oven does not maintain temperature even though the oven is still on. Changing the oven thermostat and temperature sensor did not help.

Hi Richard, thank you for reaching out. First, we recommend checking if the parts were installed correctly. If this does not help, then you may need to check the bake element, part number PS11750370. If the issue still exists, then you may need to replace the control board, part number PS11749719. We hope this sorts out your problem!
Something Kitchen Aid wont tell you but running a self clean on this model stove blows the fuse located on the back of the stove.
First I slid the stove out and removed the back of the stove held in place by 8 Phillips screws. The thermostat fuse is located near the top middle on the back of the stove. Remove the 2 screws holding it in place. Disconnect the wires, plug in the new part. Put it all back together. Job done in less than 30 minutes.
This repair would have cost $164 through A&E factory service.
