1. How do I turn off flashing "replace filter" red light? I replaced the filter and it is still on?
2. Small lights are burned out. How do I replace those?
For model number JF42NXFXDE02
Hello Neil, thank you for your question. For your lights, you may need to replace the LED PS16218086 which are sold individually. We also found a link to the manual so that you may be able to find the answer to the flashing light for your specific model. https://www.manuals.ca/jennair/jf42nxfxde/manual. We hope this helps.
Hello Jennifer, thank you for your question. The demo mode is used when the refrigerator or freezer is on display in a retail store or if you want to turn the cooling off and deactivate all other functions except interior lighting. In this mode, the control panel will respond to most commands but not execute them. To turn the demo mode off, press and hold the Top Zone and Jenn-Air logos for 3 seconds. We hope this solves your problem!

First I shut the water off to the refrigerator.then i pushed the big button in the middle of the grille below the refrigerator door. pulled out the old filter, took the front cap off the old filter put it on the new filter. took the two red caps off the new filter. pushed the filter in till it locked in place. all done! Turned the back on.
It's simple enough in theory: read the side of the box and follow the instructions. BUT you need to really push the knob in pretty hard (I am a girl, and my hand strength isn't that good). If you don't, when you turn the knob, the filter won't come out, then it's tougher. So: make sure the knob pops before you turn!
