What would make the range throw a f7 flashing on the screen and a 40. I do not have a owners manual
For model number JBP21BH1WH
Hello Michelle, Thank you for the question. The F7 error code indicates a problem with the Control Panel Buttons. We suggest unplugging the appliance and rubbing the button pad to see if there is any stuck keys. You can also open up the control panel and make sure the Wire Ribbon is clean and plugged in securely. If everything is clear, you may have a defective Control Board, PartSelect Number PS3486631. We hope this helps!

First I slid the stove out and unpluged it, then removed two screws, slid out element, disconected two wires, slid new element in to place, pluged two wires in ,put into place and installed two screws, pluged stove back in, and turned on to try. Works perfect.
