my oven is not reaching temp it says on display temp I have to use an oven thermometer to set temp usually 10 degrees more I bake at 400 a lot and I set it at 410
what part number is temp sensor
For model number HBL5420UC
Hello Marlene, thank you for reaching out. Based on our understanding of the issue, we would suggest checking the temperature sensor, part number PS8729847, to fix the issue. Glad to be of help!
Removed the wall oven to access temp probe connector strapped to the back of the oven. removed 2 screws holding probe inside the oven & replaced. Searched for the "fixing kit" thermostat part I was suggested to replace along with the probe. No thermostat type part was found in my oven, even though Bosch says it fits "somewhere". Reinstalled the wall oven & tested. The temperature is working normal now. Will return the fixing kit.
