Washing machine began spinning without water in it's own one day. So i unplugged it to make it stop. When i plugged it back in, it just continued spinning again. Then circuit board died. This g.E. Washing machine is only 4 years old. Purchased at home depot, september 2017.

Recently, a fast ra-ta-tat machine-gun-like sound comes when hot water is filling the machine. Sometimes it goes away by itself. It is pretty loud, like 1st time I thought it was the neighbour hammer drilling. What could be the cause of that? The machine has been in service for 10 years. Any recommendations for replacement?
Cheers

Hi Afshin, thank you for reaching out. The water inlet valve is responsible for controlling the flow of water into the washing machine. If it's malfunctioning, it could cause a rattling or tapping noise as the water flows through. Its part number is PS12069194. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this sorts out your problem!

Hi Valerie, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the water line for clogging first. If it is fine, the issue could be with the water inlet valve, part number PS12069194. You may need to replace it to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!
Lid won’t lock, control buttons don’t respond, machine makes water sucking noise and no water in tub. Only way I can stop this is by unplugging power. Had it unplugged 2 days and it does the water sucking noise when I plug in to power. Machine woke me up at night making that water sucking noise. Don’t know how long that was going on. Machine 3 or 4 years old . I’m upset!
