Should this model come with a fabric softener dispenser? Mine only had a rounded top cover on the agitator. I do have deep rinse cycle suggested to be used when adding fabric softener. Scrud had built up in the agitator due to fabric softener poured in full strength instead of diluting as per the manual. How do i clean the inside of the agitator on this model. Can i remove the agitator & clean?
For model number GTW220ACK2WW
Hi Jean. This model does not appear to come with a dispenser. To clean pour hot water into the dispenser. Add a few drops of liquid detergent and allow the solution to sit for 10 to 20 minutes. Flush the dispenser with hot water. If fabric softener is visible inside the dispenser, wipe it up with a soft cloth and rinse again. Run the washing machine through a rinse cycle several times, selecting warm water for the rinse. If warm is not a rinse option, pour hot water mixed with a splash of laundry detergent into the dispenser between rinses to help loosen the buildup. It is not recommend to remove the agitator to clean. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.

Clothes are still dripping wet after complete cycle.
For model number GTW220ACK2WW
Hi Steve, thank you for your question. There are a couple of parts that could cause this issue. You may need to take a look at your lid lock, and the speed sensor on your appliance. It sounds like your appliance is either not going into the spin cycle or it is too slow to actually spin the water out of the clothes. Good luck with your repair.

How do you clean the agitator tube where fabric softener goes?
For model number GTW220ACK2WW
Hi Gregory. Remove the dispenser from the top of the agitator. Separate the dispenser cup from the cover by grasping the top and pushing down on the inside of the cup with your fingers. Dispenser cup will pop free from the cover. To clean the dispenser, soak both the dispenser cup and the dispenser cover in the following solution:
1 US gallon (3.8 liters) warm water
1/4 cup (60 ml) heavy-duty liquid detergent
1 cup (240 ml) bleach 4 If necessary, loosen buildup with a clean, soft cloth after soaking. Do not use a stiff brush; you may roughen the surface of the dispenser. Rinse and reassemble dispenser. Place dispenser back on the agitator. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.

Drain all the water out of the tub with a shop vac Remove rear drain hose and drained rest of water into a bucket Remove small rear panel (bottom left hand corner) where the drain hose connects Tipped washer up about 45 degrees to get underneath it - Supported it with a few paint cans Remove internal drain hose/clamps from pump - w/ pliers Remove belt cover (gray plastic) with socket - 3 bolts Remove wire assembly plug from socket Remove old drain pump with socket - 3 bolts Install new drain pump - 3 bolts - plug wire assembly into socket Reinstall belt cover - 3 bolts Reinstall hose to drain pump (note panel will be inside washer) Feed drain hose panel through hole and reinstall - 1 nut Re attached drain hose to exterior drain plug You are done !
Very simple to repair. Be sure to drain the tub outside or into the sump pump then lay the washer on its side. The pump is right there on the bottom of the basket with 3 bolts. You will also need to remove the belt cover to get to the plug. So simple and saves you hundreds off repair man prices.
