Error code "uo"
Please explain what this means
For model number FGHD2465NF0A
Hello Gary,
Thank you for your question. The UO error code means "Vent Open". On the top back right corner of the dishwasher tub, there is a vent and fan that opens to help dry the dishes at the end of the cycle. If the computer senses that the vent is open, then it won't start the cycle. Frigidaire says to first check the wiring and connections. If the wiring and connections are good, then you should first replace the vent assembly. If that doesn't solve your problem, then you should replace the main control board under part PS6012231 for your model. We hope this helps!
Water is left in bottom of dishwasher after cycle. I have repeatedly removed all bottom filters and removed all debris. I have also removed drain pipe from under sink and used shop vac to suck all water from dishwasher. All water comes out with no problem. So what might be wrong?
For model number FGHD2465NF0A
Hi Audrey, thank you for the great question. Standing water in your dishwasher after a wash cycle means that your dishwasher isn't draining properly. This is because leftover food is clogging the drainage system. Inspect your dishwasher, and clean the drain basket. If this doesn't take care of the problem, you may have a clog in your drains. If there is more than a little standing water a new drain pump part number PS8689824 could be next. We hope this helps.
Hello Hulene, thank you for your question. ER Error Code is a membrane switch failure. Main control has detected a stuck key or a key pressed for more than one minute. Check connections. Repair was simple. I unscrewed the old grommet which held the old spray arm and screwed-on the new one. About 30 seconds was required. Other people having this problem should note that the spray-arm is made of three pieces which are inseparable when the arm is new. The arm is sold in this form. However, when your machine is having the problem that the arm falls off, the three pieces become separate. When you want to replace the spray arm, only one new part needs to be ordered because this part encompases all three components.
Remove the bottom cover plate. Disconnect the water inlet and black rubber hose. Remove 2 mounting screws. Pull out electrical connector. Reverse order. Be sure to get the brass inlet connector really tight so it won't leak. I did the final tightning after the part is mounted. Not a bad repair at all. The only problem was that it leaked in the first place and messed up my subfloor and laminate flooring.
