My refrigerator is not cooling on the bottom but the freezer on top works fine. What could be the problem? Could it be the compressor relay?
For model number FFTR1835VS0
Hello Kathy, thank you for contacting us. There could be a few potential issues that could cause your refrigerator to not cool on the bottom while the freezer on top is working fine. Here are a few things to check:
1. The air vents between the freezer and fridge compartments may be blocked. Make sure that there are no items blocking the air vents. Also, check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS16660872, and make sure it running and distributing the cold air.
2. The evaporator coils in the freezer may be frosted over. If the evaporator coils are frosted over, they will not be able to effectively transfer heat, which can cause the fridge to not cool properly. In that case, check the defrost timer, part number PS16227343, and the defrost heater, part number PS12746228.
3. The thermostat in the fridge may be set incorrectly. Make sure that the thermostat is set to a temperature that is low enough to properly cool the fridge.

Water is leaking into refrigerator during defrost cycle. This is brand new first 2 days of use.
For model number FFTR1835VS0
Hi Keith, thank you for contacting us. According to our research, we would recommend checking the defrost drain hole because it might be clogged due to ice buildup on it, which causes the leak into the refrigerator. We also recommend you check the drain tube, part number PS12731409. We hope this sorts out your problem!
First I’ve done this many times no issues. This gasket which finally fit was the worst item and first from partselect. I’ve never had such a hard time getting the gasket to stay in the groove. Softened it and everything. Had to carefully use a plastic shim inch by inch. Bad bad bad!!
