The ac is not very cool and it has stopped dripping water? What could be the problem?

Hello Colleen, Thank you for the question. This is normally caused by a dust or dirt build up in the filter and on the coils. We suggest cleaning both so it has a better air flow to cool properly. We hope this helps!

Hello Robert, thank you for your question. The first parts we would recommend testing are the sensors which are PartSelect Number: PS3655657, PartSelect Number: PS2582334, PartSelect Number: PS2359468. If the sensors are fine, the issue could be with the main control board. I hope this helps.

Hello and thank you for writing. Your unit has 3 sensors that could be faulty, you should test them. Sensor PS3655657. Sensor PS2582334. Evaporator thermistor sensor PS2359468. If the sensors are ok it might be a faulty control box PS9495338. We hope this helps. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.

Unit stays on and runs cold even after pushing the on/off button on the display. All indicators show on the display. Fan speed button works, Temp up/down works, Mode does not work. Heat mode does not work. Only way to shut it off is to hit the test button on the plug. I am thinking Relay 7 on the Power control board is failed closed?

The end of the cord got hot and i had to replace the male end but there was s tiny wire in the cord going into the circuit board on the male side what did that little wire do the unit wont come on now

Hello Gail, thank you for reaching out. According to our research, the power cord, part number PS11704005, has 3 wires. The white and black wires are of live and neutral and you have to connect them with the wire connector in the circuit box and the green wire is the grounding wire. The grounding wire acts as a safe path for electricity to run in the event of a short circuit. If the live and neutral wires are not connected properly, the unit will not start. We would recommend checking the wires connections. We hope this information helps!

A/C blows cold for 10 seconds then heating element comes on and blows hot
I bought both PC BOARDS and the 3 thermostats even tho I read that cleaning the thermostats will sometimes work. Installed thermostats but still blew hot. Installed push button control module because wife said the buttons don't always work, still blows hot.
Slide out A/C from frame about 8 inches, remove 4 screws that hold top cover. All the wires and thermostat connectors must be removed to get main control module out. I took lots of pictures and made my own wiring diagram with notes. The wire connectors look like regular push type, but they do have a release tab that can be pushed with needle nose plyers. Remove screws holding module, and do everything in reverse. Yes, the A/C works properly now. I spent an extra $110 for the thermostats and push button control, but am very happy it works and didn't have to buy a new A/C.
