Ice forming on rear interior of freezer cabinet, then melts on to floor. Help!
For model number FFHS2611PFEA
Hello Laurence, thank you for the question. This could be caused by a dislodged Water Supply Tube to the Ice Maker creating a spill over and leaking. If the Tube is good, check the Ice maker Tray for cracks or damage that may cause a leak. If they check out good, watch the Ice maker during the fill cycle to see if it is over filling and spilling over. If so, the Water Valve may need to be replaced. We hope this helps!
It makes ice OK, but it won't dispense water. I replaced the main solenoid valve unit and replaced the filter. I'm sure I have the hoses in the right place. I would appreciate any help with this issue. Thank you. Charles R.

Hello Charles, thank you for writing. We suggest to check to see if the water pressure is at the correct psi. Also, there is a microswitch PS12724042 located in the dispenser module that could be the issue.
Good luck with this repair.

My ice maker is making a poping sound and not making any ice
For model number FFHS2611PFEA
Hi Janie. This would most likely solved by replacing the ice maker PS12364147. Thank you for your question and good luck with your repair.
Hi Ramone, thank you for reaching out. We would suggest checking the drain line and the evaporator coils for frost build-up. A faulty defrost heater, part number PS2581596, may cause these components to get blocked due to excess ice buildup, which may eventually cause water leakage when the ice melts. The leaking water may come out of both sides and pool on the floor. We hope this information helps!
In my specific appliance the water valve is located in the bottom right hand corner looking at it from the back. To get to it I remove the thin layer of cardboard the covers the back of the fridge. I then proceeded to disconnect the 1/4" copper tubing which is the water feed coming out of the wall. Then I removed the screws that hold the valve assembly in place. I took the water valve out and removed the electrical connections as well as the plastic tubing which feed the water dispenser and the ice maker. To install the new water valve it was just a matter of reversing steps.
