This replacement brush holder is specially designed for use with Dewalt and Black and Decker power tools. The purpose of this part is to secure the carbon brush around the armature to provide stable contact. One durable plastic brush holder with metal terminals is included per order. To replace this assembly you would need a screwdriver and pliers.

This is a genuine OEM replacement part, it is sold individually. The purpose of the Brush Cap is to retain the brush in the brush holder. It is removed by using a screwdriver. Do not use to much pressure when removing or replacing this part, it does have a tendency to break.
