My ice maker quit working. No water flowing into it. I just put a glass of water in it to see if it makes ice. The water drips on the water side for glasses of water. I am thinking the pump in the back. Am i on the correct track or any other suggestions? Thank you, jim

Hello James, Thank you for your inquiry. It sounds like you might want to test your water inlet valve with multi-meter to see if it is still functioning. There are two solenoids on that part. One for the ice maker and one for the water dispenser. Test both sides just to be sure. Good luck with your repair!

I searched the model number for my Whirlpool refrigerator on the internet and partselect.com came up so I clicked on it. The site asked for my model number which I typed in and there it was...a picture of my refrigerator in full detail and very well diagramed and labeled. Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them. Ice maker now working and air is no longer getting into freezer which was freezing up ice maker. Thanks for timely delivery, now I am able to use ice dispenser, which I haven't used for long time.
