Where is the air filter on my fridge? I want to replace it.

I had a plumper come in run water line from under sink to fridge when he turned water on it flooded the kitchen could it be that something needs to be hooked up inside fridge? Also could not get the filter thing out its stuck really bad.

Hello Linda, Thank you for the question. With the flooding and the filter becoming stuck, it sounds like the Filter Housing PartSelect Number PS11748615 is damaged and shoudl be replaced. We hope this helps.
I recently had a a small water flooding issue and I turned the water line going to this fridge off. Almost right away the water stopped so I replaced the line and noticed the old one was perfectly fine! There is no water spot directly below the fridge but I'm absolutely positively sure this is where my issue is coming from. I just can't tell where its coming from. It could I suppose it could be exiting the fridge at the very back and going directly between the floor and wall which is why water is showing in the basement! Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Check the drip pan at the back of the refrigerator to see if it has any water in it, as you could have a clog in the drain hose, or the condenser fan is not evaporating the water, or it could be an issue with the water inlet valve. You can check the valve for any visible damage or cracks in the water tubes. I searched the model number for my Whirlpool refrigerator on the internet and partselect.com came up so I clicked on it. The site asked for my model number which I typed in and there it was...a picture of my refrigerator in full detail and very well diagramed and labeled. Thanks to the pictorial diagram, I was able to order correct parts. It was just a matter of removal of broken parts and replacing them. Ice maker now working and air is no longer getting into freezer which was freezing up ice maker. Thanks for timely delivery, now I am able to use ice dispenser, which I haven't used for long time. Thanks
