Starter is not engaging but sounds like it's turning
For model number DXGNR8000
Hello Bruce, thank you for getting in touch. Check the starter motor, part number PS12421651. Remove the starter motor and inspect the gear assembly. Clean it thoroughly with a parts or brake cleaner. If the gear teeth or the internal clutch mechanism are worn or damaged, the entire starter drive assembly or the starter motor will need to be replaced. We hope this helps.
