How do I install a new dust shield on my DW421 orbital sander?

For model number DW421

Hello Thomas, thank you for your question. For this model, we do not find a shield, but we do find the Bag PS10181205. The bag has a collar with it and that may be what the shield is. We found a video link for your convenience. Good luck with your repair.
