We have never been satisfied with the heat of the burners I have another gas stove that puts out three times the flame. Do I need different orifaces or the regulator some how.

Hello Hubbard, thank you for your question. That humming noise is your regulator valve that your gas line from your house connects to on the back of the oven. Check that the gas pressure isn't too high coming from your house. If it's not, then you need to replace your Regulator Valve PS12074765. One of the most common reasons a gas stove starts clicking is because the burner cap is out of alignment. We hope this helps.
