Fan stays on and fan switch has been replaced, and fan still stays on. Is there a heat sensor that needs to be replaced? Or if I switch the wires, will that change it to work?
For model number CVG316B
Hi Thomas, Thank you for asking. We suggest testing the Relay. With a multimeter you can test the double black wire when the appliance is running and the fan should be on. There should be 120 vac to chassis ground. If not, the relay is faulty and will need to be replaced. Good luck!
the hardest part of the whole thing was finding the part... partselect.com made it easy. the part was delivery quickly using regular mail, and I was simply able to slide the new knob on.
