Refrigerator cools to 20 degrees no matter what temp setting is. Shuts off at 20 degrees and freezes everything. New motherboard, new defrost sensor, new thermistor (temp sensor). No change in operation. no codes or flashing lights.

Since you have already replaced the motherboard, defrost sensor, and temperature thermistor, and the unit still forcefully cools down to 20°F before shutting off, the issue is most probably with the air damper, part number PS18159116. It is likely stuck open, allowing excessive cold freezer air to flow into the fresh food compartment. Since it cannot close to regulate airflow, the refrigerator section becomes too cold and freezes items. You may need to replace it. We hope this helps!
