Breaker trips when i shut the door
For model number CPBM3077RFB
Hello, thank you for the great question. When an appliance such as a microwave oven repeatedly trips the circuit breaker, it's overloading the electrical circuit, which is rated to handle a finite number of amps. If too many items are plugged into the same circuit that the microwave oven is on, it can cause an overload. It could also be caused by a misaligned door on the microwave oven itself. When the door is misaligned, the interlocks switches in the holes where the "hooks" on the door go don't activate in the right sequence and the circuits breaker trips or the microwave's internal fuse blows. This, surprisingly, is actually a feature. It is existent to prevent you from operating it with a damaged or misaligned door so you don't expose yourself to potentially harmful levels of microwaves. We hope this helps!

I have had this microwave for 7 years and has worked great, most recently I received a shock from it and now it has now power. I checked circuit breaker it is OK so I am thinking it is the fuse where is that located?

Hi Trent, thank you for reaching out. On the right side of your model, there is a control panel, and behind the control panel, there is a vent grill. The fuse, part number PS12071294, is located behind the vent grill on the noise filter. If this does not help, please check the PC board, part number PS12074924. We hope this information helps!
Numerical buttons work. Selection buttons defrost reheat etc. And lights and exhaust fan do not work

Hello Jim, thank you for the question. The issue seems to be with the touchpad and you may need to replace it. The touchpad for your model is not sold separately, you may need to order complete door assembly, part number PS10066269, for it. We hope this is helpful!
Hi Uma, thank you for reaching out. The line fuse, part number PS12071294, is located behind the top vent grille and the control panel on the right side of the unit. The vent grill and microwave cover will need to be removed to access the fuse located at the top of the right-hand side. We hope this information is useful!
The plastic brackets that hold the handle on to the microwave have broke and handle therefore fell off, can these be ordered separately? Serial number is kg 62302590

Hello Donna, thank you for your question. Unfortunately, the handle mounts are not sold separately. We suggest the handle, part number PS12365441. We hope this helps.
Remove vent cover then remove touch screen control panel. When you remove control panel take photo of where everything is plugged in then unplug and remove control panel. 3 door switches located next to door in a plastic chassis. Test each switch with current tester. Remove the bad switch and replace with the new one. You tube DIY helped.
First thing I dir was search YouTube for any related videos and found this one https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uHj4H9Fdxrc, it was the exact problem my microwave was exhibiting. Once I verified the problem by troubleshooting, I removed the part and verified that the switches were working fine, the door latch assembly showed signs of wear which was the cause of the problem. After receiving the replacement part I installed it, verified that power was restored to the unit and reassembled the microwave, works fine, hope it lasts a long time!
The diagnosis is about an hour. Coz, I need to open the control panel, got a tester, and trsted all critical parts inside the panel. Also, replaced the fuse just to make sure its a new one. Found out it was a switch (bottom part) that control the open/close of the microwave door.
When found out the problem, the rest of the work is easy.
