The purpose of the 90510937 Filter is to pick up and hold the material the vacuum picks up and keep dust and debris from entering the motor assembly. The filter should be cleaned out after each use. Once the filter is no longer able to cleaned, it should be replace ASAP. It is advised to have an extra on on hand at all times.
