I need help to reset this unit please. After the power outage the display showed nothing beside backward "C". Thank You
For model number CGS995SEL1SS
Hi Duc, thank you for the question. Based on our research, the backward C code that you are referring to indicates that the oven has been set for sabbath mode. We are providing you with some instructions to exit the sabbath mode:
1. Touch the clear/off pad.
2. If the oven is cooking, wait for a random delay period of approximately 30 seconds to 1 minute, until only the backward C is in the display.
3. Press and hold both the bake and warm pads at the same time, until the display shows (SF).
4. Tap the delay start pad until (12 shdn) or (no shdn) appear on the display. (12 shdn) indicates that the oven will automatically turn off after 12 hours. (no shdn) indicates that the oven will not automatically turn off.
5. Touch the start pad.
We hope this helps!
