I reinforced the ice cube tray rectangular slot with a thin .080" plastic disc cut to fit the ice tray - you need to remove the cube tray from the round holder, add the reinforcement around the plastic slot then reinstall. Also, I polished the cube trays with Carnuba wax (food safe) to better release the ice.
All is well now, and I have 2 spare ice trays modified and ready to install.
This is a tray design issue - Bosch should increase thickness of the molded plastic fitment and tray where the ice tray engages the motor.
Very easy, it took about 30 minutes. Loosening 4 screws, unplugging motor connection, then plugging in new motor and then tightening up the screws again. The hardest part was taking off the freezer drawer. There are youtube videos to veiw which was very helpful.
I ordered a bottom container shelf for the left door of a Bosch refrigerator. I received a container shelf for the right door. The part cost $11.85. Shipping was $7.95. I contacted the company and was offered a refund if I returned it, but there was no offer to pay for the shipping.
I decided not to return it, because even with a refund for the part, I would be out $16 and have no part. Maybe someday I will need a container shelf for the right door.
