Keep searches simple. Use keywords, e.g. "leaking", "pump", "broken" or "fit".
Appliance would not shut off- heated or cooled just fine but never turned off.
Turn off the circuit breaker. 1- Removed cover- (clips on both sides of bottom front pop loose and carefully lift off) 2. Remove knobs. Unscrew the lock washer on the switch pegs 3. Unscrew all visible screws approx 4 in front and 2 on the side 4. This will allow you to jar the aluminum box loose from the top- it does not come off completely. 5. Carefully locate the switch-circuit board behind the left knob. 6. Unplug both lines- insert new part (main switch) connect both lines into the new part. 7. Replace the box just as you took it apart. 8. Make sure the knob pegs are turned all the way to the left. Reinstall lock washer. Then align knobs on appropriate pegs.turn on the circuit breaker. Check that knobs are aligned properly and turn on - let it run so that it would shut off as you raise or lower the heat or cool. If it shuts off- yeah it is fixed!!! Replace the cover carefully after a thorough cleaning. You are DONE!
