Doesn't fill up all the way
For model number ADB1400AGB3
Hello Victor, thank you for the question. According to our research, the issue is with the float switch. It is a safety device designed to shut off the water inlet valve if the dishwasher is overfilling. If the float switch is defective or stuck, it might stop the dishwasher from filling correctly. You can use a multi meter to test the float switch for continuity. If the float switch is defective, replace the float switch, part number PS11750031. We hope this solves your problem!
I called an experienced plumber, who balanced and installed my new dishwasher properly, using the brackets I ordered from Parts Select, after an INEXPERIENCED plumber had tossed the factory-provided mounting brackets out with the shipping carton. Relief!
My filters had completely clogged up and had not cleaned my filters at all which was a no-no.I had lots of food left on the dishes after running my dishwasher, so I took bothp filters out and replaced them no tools required. I won’t be using powdered or liquid detergent for my dishwasher anymore only pods and promise to clean my filters once a month, so hopefully that’ll help keep them clean. Very easy replacement even for an old woman.
