Front drive wheel locked up, causing the mower to not be able to be pushed.

  • Walter from EVERETT, WA
  • Easy
  • Less than 15 mins
  • Socket set
Removed wheel by pressing off the plastic hub cap exposing the nut holding the wheel. I removed the nut, then pulled the wheel straight off the axel shaft. This exposed the broken dust cover. I they wiggled the dust cover off, cleaned the dirt from inside the wheel, placed the new dust cover, replaced the wheel, nut and hub cap.

Once the blade was off, the blade adapter came off easily with a little help from WD40, and getting the new one on was simple with a few taps with a plastic hammer
