Not dispensing ice, and items in the freezer are defrosting.

Hello Karen, Thank you for the question. We suggest testing the Defrost Sensor Assembly. It should read on a meter 30KO at 32°F, 24.1KO at 41°F, and 8.9KO at room temperature. We hope this helps!

Hi Will, thank you for contacting us. We have found that there are evaporator coils and a circulating fan in the freezer zone of the refrigerator. Poor cooling can be a result of excessive frost development on the evaporating coils. Over time, frost accumulates over the coils and fan. When frost accumulates over the evaporator coils, they get insulated. Due to this, the circulating fan is unable to draw air over the frosted coils. We would recommend checking the frost buildup on the coils and ensuring proper ventilation of the refrigerator. If this is not the issue, you may need to check the evaporator fan motor, part number PS3523323, to fix the issue. We hope this solves your problem!

center door post on fridge goes back to the closed position when left door is opened are there springs in that center door post yhat need to be replaced

Broken water line
Remove water filter and water filter holder. Removed cover on back of frig. Removed clip where water line connects to back of water filter. Took half inch wrench pushed in on water line lock to release line. Repeat at other end. Reverse steps to put on new line. Easy repair.

replace leaking water inlet valve assembly
1. Shut off water to refrigerator. 2. Removed bottom sheet metal cover (6 screws). 3. Removed leaking water inlet valve assembly from refrigerator (1 screw). 4. Remove water inlet tube (loosen nut) and tube back to refrigerator (pull from water valve after remove cotter pin washer). 5. Detach two electrical wire harnesses. 6. Install new water inlet valve assembly to refrigerator (1 screw). 7. Replace both water tubes to water inlet assembly. 8. Re-attach both wiring harnesses. 9. Turn water to refrigerator on. 10. Check for leaks. 11. Re-attach bottom sheet cover (6 screws).

Remove and replace light switch
Video makes it look easy. Kenmore refrigerator does not have "groove" along the right hand side of switch that allows for pushing down on release. Used a thin screwdriver to get under to push while holding switch edge with pliers. Kept slipping. Tape sides to avoid scratching inside of refrigerator.
