A very tiny plastic washer in the assembly was bad. It kept coming out. I put it back several times and then ordered a whole new assembly.
I unscrewed the old one and screwed in the new one. 2 hose fittings. Had anyone made real parts, I could have replaced the washer.

The cap fell off and was melted on one side--therefore the rinse solution kept draining out.
I was determined to find and replace the part myself. Much to my surprise, others had had the same problem! Thanks to the reviews on this website gave me the "courage" to do it myself!
