40-601 (Type 1) Delta Scroll Saw - Overview

This set screw is a genuine OEM sourced replacement part. It is commonly used on a variety of Delta and Porter Cable power tools. A set screw is used to secure an object within or against another object. Please make sure to check appropriate diagrams for correct location and use of this set screw. You will need a hex key/allen wrench to install or remove this item.

This is an original Delta replacement part manufactured for use with drill presses and table saws. The special hex nut has multiple applications depending on the model drill press or table saw. This hex nut is sold as an individual replacement part, please see model diagram for part location and usage.

This is a table insert plate for your saw. It is attached to the table, and provides access to the blade. A table insert protects the rest of the unit by preventing wood from getting jammed under the blade during cutting. The slit in the insert plate allows for the saw blade to run smoothly. Before installing this part, unplug your saw.
