On this stackable, the dryer works normally, but the washier will not start.

Hello Faye, thank you for contacting us. Check the lid switch, part number PS1482372. If the lid switch is faulty, the washer will not start or spin. If the lid switch is working, you will need to check the drive motor, part number PS11754879. The motor might be faulty, not letting the washer start. We hope this information helps!

Will not proceed to rinse cycle. Timer stops and hear buzzing noise on all cycles. Any ideas

Hello Joseph, thank you for contacting us. If your appliance stops at the rinse cycle, stalls the timer, and emits a loud buzzing or humming noise, the issue could be with the motor capacitor, part number PS11746660. The capacitor loses its ability to store and release the electrical charge needed to give the heavy drive motor an initial high-torque turning boost. Without this electrical kick-start, the motor remains completely stationary when the rinse cycle demands a spin, converting the incoming current into a loud humming noise. You may need to replace it.
