Nothing happens when I press the start button. I have verified there is power to the wall plug.

Hi Steve,
Thank you for your question. If your dryer will not start, there are some parts that you will need to check to see which one is causing the issue. You will need to check the start switch, the door switch, the motor, the thermal fuse, the terminal block and the timer. We have included a link from our website that you may reference on how to check these parts. Once you have determined the part you need, please call customer service. We look forward to hearing from you!
First symptom the dryer will not shut off. This is periodic. At one incident the dryer was off then started running again when left alone. I know that the timer is one of the possible problems but to turn itself back on is strange. Could there be a short in the starter button on the panel?

Hello Warren, Thank you for the question. If the dryer was starting on its own while the door is open, it will indicate a Timer issue. We hope this helps!

My machine heats, but the tub doesn't rotate

Hi Sandra, thank you for reaching out. Most of the time, a broken drive belt, part number PS346995, is the reason a dryer won’t spin. Turn the drum with your hands. A working belt should provide some resistance. If the drum turns easily and loosely, the belt is probably broken. Please contact us anytime if you require further assistance.
First I took the front of the dryer off then located the igniter. It only required removing two screws, removing old igniter, replacing with new igniter, and replacing the two screws.. While I was replacing the igniter I took the drum out and throughly cleaned the inside. Lucky me, I found 85 cents on the floor of the dryer. I am 65yrs old, married and mother of two. This was easy to do and sure saved money. I reccommend others try to do repairs for themselves and using PartSelect was less expensive too.
