Dehumidifer collection pan (bucket) overflowing with water
The unit should cutoff when the pan gets full enough for it to depress the pan full switch on the back of the unit. Used an ohm-meter to check and see that this switch was bad. Replaced with this part and now it cuts off again when the pan is full. Not hard at all. Take the cover off the unit (screws) then take the switch out (nut) and replace.
