This part is the replacement push switch for your refrigerator. It is made of white plastic and is sold individually. The door switch turns the light on and off when you open the door, and it is also a safety mechanism that doesn’t allow the auger motor to come on and dispense ice when the door is open. To remove the switch, simply pry it out of position with a small flat head screwdriver, then disconnect the wires. Reconnect the wires to a new switch and snap it into place.
