top agitator not working
our 13 year old kenmore washer has a dual system agitator and the top section had stopped working - we looked at the mechanism and found the drive gears had worn and broken. Originally we called Sears for repair estimate - would have ended up being +/- $250... we started thinking we should just invest in a new washer... hated the thought because the washer still looked and worked (other than the agitator) great... we found your site on-line and fixed the probelm for $35 and 15 minutes... took less than 24 hrs. to get the parts - even during the Christmas mail "clog" time of year!! THANKS for the service and price!!

Top agitator would not turn
After some online research as what could be wrong with my washing machine. Several videos later, my bother found that it was the agitator, Thanks to the helpful video from Parts Select. We ordered the parts and within days the parts arrived. Installing the 'Agitator Repair Kit was really easy and took all of 15 to 20 minutes, most of which was looking over the drawing. My washer now works like a charm.. Thank you Parts Select for the speedy deliver my parts!

Nonworking agitator
I basically followed the YouTube tutorial on the PartSelect site. Essentially all that was wrong with my machine was that the nylon "dogs" had deteriorated, but I decided to replace the entire core--total cost including shipping, about $28. I had more trouble getting the top part of the agitator off than was depicted in the tutorial, but it's an old machine and there was a lot of old detergent residue, which I cleaned off. This actually took the majority of the repair time. It now works just fine.

Agitator would no longer move clothes during wash cycle
Removed the upper part of agitator from lower section by removing bolt with socket wrench and replacing inner "dog eared" gasket (cog) with the repair kit ordered here. It took some finagling and a rap with a rubber mallet but I got it installed and it works like a charm. Washer works like new with a $ 20.00 kit that was delivered fast, within 2-3 days! I highly recommend this site for easy instructions and excellent response time and pricing !

Auger would come completetly off when taking out clothes. The rubber washer had disintegrated.
I watched a Part Select video on replacing the augitator and just followed the directions to replace the thrust washer (which was showing wear) and the washer. The instructions that came with the thrust washer were helpful as well.
