The washer will run, but gets stuck mid cycle, spinning or just sitting, the cycle time will not advance, and sometimes add time. Does this sound like a controller board? Or so you suspect something else? Thanks

Hello John, Thank you for the question. Sounds like the timer is defective. On your model number the timer is built into the board, so the board will need to be replaced, PartSelect Number PS3506804. Hope this helps!

Do you have to replace the circuit board when having issues with the start button?
For model number WPRE8150KWT

Hi John, That is a good question. You may have to replace the either the control panel or the electronic control board. To verify which part you are having an issue with, you can use an Ohms/Multi Meter to check the continuity. I hope this helps. Have a great day!

So my washer starts fine and then it goes all the way down to 11 minutes left and then it will jump right back up to 20 minutes and it just keeps doing that. We replaced this part and is still doing it does this. Anybody have any idea what the problem is?

Hi Kim, Thank you for your question. If you have replaced the control board assembly and the washer cycle is still jumping around, there may be another part in the washer that is causing this issue. The other parts you should check are the lid switch and the drive motor and inverter board assembly. You may test the lid switch with a multimeter. For the lid switch, with your multi-meter on the Rx1 setting, touch the probes to the terminals, then press and hold the switch button down. You should receive a reading of zero. If you do not receive this reading, you will need a replacement lid switch. For the electronic control boards, look for any signs of wear, damage, burning, or shorted terminals, visually inspect your electronic control board. If you find any issues while performing the inspection above, you may need a replacement electronic control board. I hope this helps. Thank you and have a great day!
